World Wide Gaming

Gaming is a worldwide phenomenon that gets bigger everyday with the expansion and creativity of technology. People of all ages and genders take part of it. People as young as 3 years old and people as old as 70 years old really enjoy the satisfaction of playing games. I think using gaming to help learn is a great idea. Fostering a safe environment for kids to learn and have fun using video games will be very tricky though. If the game is offline then it will be totally safe for those kids, but if the game is online then things like cyberbullying will occur. Anytime there are kids playing video games without adult supervision then cyber bullying will occur very often. A way to create a safe space for kids to play games and learn would have a lot of supervision over the games. Don’t allow kids to cyberbully or do any inappropriate things.

They are many things parents should consider while their kids are playing video games. The first and most important tip I would give parents would be too limiting the amount of time they can play the game. Anything in abundance isn’t good, but video games would take over a kids mind and that will be all that they want to do. The second tip I would give parents is to monitor what their child is playing, so they don’t play anything that the parents aren’t aware of. The third and final tip I would give parents is to make sure that their child isn’t playing with random strangers. This could lead to things such as private information leaked or cyberbullying. Parents should keep a very close eye on their kids’ online activity.

There are a lot of games that I like to play, but if I had to choose one it would be Call of Duty: Warzone. There are a lot of elements that make it fun. Firstly there are one hundred and fifty players in each match and you have to fight it out until one person lasts. It is very hard to win at, but once you win for the first time it becomes addicting. Good players get about one win every ten to twenty games and each game lasts close to thirty minutes. This makes it super competitive and very popular amongst the gaming community. There are many social aspects in this game. You can either play alone or with as many as four players one your team. You have to communicate with your teammates, so you would have a better chance at winning. You also get to talk to the enemy for about 2 seconds after you are killed by them during the game.
